Is Pilates right for me?
Pilates is for EVERYONE. It will strengthen your core, improve balance, increase coordination and reduce stress. All exercises are safe and low impact making it a well-balanced approach to fitness with limitless modifications. Pilates will challenge you, however, each exercise can be tailored to your specific needs whether you are a senior, a complete beginner, an athlete, fitness guru, or have injuries.
How do I begin?
Not sure what Pilates or TRX is all about? Are you just starting your fitness journey? We got you! Sign up for your Intro Private Session and be intimidated no more. Pick from several time slots that works best for you and see how Pilates feels and what to expect in class. Our friendly staff will make your very first experience at MVMT Room fun, informative and get you set up with next steps. We know equipment can be intimidating so we take the time to show you how to use equipment in our studio. We also show you simple adjustments that you can make. Our staff demonstrates each exercise so that you can visually see the set up and movement and do a 45-minute workout. No pretension. No intimidation. No cost.
How often should I take Pilates?
Once you start your Pilates journey – you’re hooked (just in case you were not warned). To see results, we encourage 2 to 3 times a week; to really experience all the benefits of Pilates 4 times a week.
